    The widget reads supported Claude and Codex usage from your computer. Provider setup is required; the meter doesn’t include an AI subscription.

We’re checking installation and everyday use on Mac and Windows before opening public downloads.

Planned launch price: US$4.99 one-time. A seven-day trial is proposed; it has not been implemented. AI Meter is not yet available for purchase or download.

Trial and paid activation are not enabled. License terms, major-version updates, support and refund policies must be finalized before sales. No lifetime service or support is promised. Read the purchase information.

Good questions.

Does this track all my ChatGPT usage?

No. The Codex row tracks the allowance reported by the supported Codex integration, including the shared Codex/Work allowance where reported. It does not track every ordinary ChatGPT chat or model limit.

What do I need before installing?

Mac (Apple Silicon or Intel) or Windows x64, plus a paid Claude account or a supported Codex installation with a ChatGPT-backed login. Claude Free shows a paid-plan note instead of usage. Final supported OS versions will be confirmed at release. Connect Claude from the widget’s menu, or use an existing Claude Code login. An API-key-only login does not provide Codex subscription limits. Read the setup guide for Mac, Windows and help with missing logins.

Do I need both Claude and Codex?

Just one is fine. Choose Claude only, Codex only, both, or automatic provider visibility.

Does the theme preview access my accounts?

No. These are illustrative readings rendered using the app’s actual theme styles. The preview does not sign in, read credentials or fetch your usage.

Can I download or buy it yet?

Public downloads and checkout are not open yet. We’re finishing installed-app testing, release preparation and activation. The planned launch price is US$4.99 one-time. The proposed seven-day trial is unimplemented; license and commercial policies are still being finalized.

Is this made by Anthropic or OpenAI?
